“LAPD missing one of the Great ones”

Rick Beach Services

I had the honor to play for one of LAPD’s Finest Rick Beach. This hit a lot of us hard as he was such a great guy to know and work with. I don’t ever recall working with Rich that he was negative which made policing so much fun.  We had a blast when we worked together alway upbeat.  We got a lot of Bad guys too.

Lots of Rampart there maybe 60 or so guys even Mike and Sheila Balmer  (Owner of the Short Stop) which was so nice to see. At the same time not surprising as Rich was such a nice guy.

A Marine

No doubt Rick made his Brothers In Arms proud

LAPD Police Officer Joshua Cullins killed by road side bomb

The LAPES Pipe and Drum Band would like to extend their condolences to the family and friends of LAPD Officer and United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Joshua Cullins. Joshua was activated and serving in the Helmand Province in Afghanistan. On October 18, 2010 Joshua was killed by a road side bomb.

In August, 2010 SSG Cullins was injured by a bomb blast while serving on the same deployment in Afghanistan. He recovered from his injuries. His extended family from LAPD made these two videos to wish him a speedy recovery and his return back to LAPD.
